Timings

10am-4pm every day - apart from the final day which ends at 7pm after the performance for family and friends.

About Rondo Summer School

Rondo Summer School is a special experience. For one week, you get to be part of a theatre company that creates its own play.

Starting from your own ideas, you’ll work in the Rondo Theatre with youth director Paulo Baigent (BA Hons Bristol Drama and English, PGCE) to devise a play that you’ll perform at the Rondo in front of your family and friends on the Friday evening.

You’ll play drama games to hone your skills and enable you to feel comfortable with the rest of the company really quickly. It doesn’t matter if you don’t know anyone else in the company beforehand – we are very experienced at helping a group get to know
each other.

It also doesn’t matter how much or little experience you have. You’ll be part of developing the storylines and scripts and you'll be able to create a role that suits you.
 

You’ll be able to get involved in every aspect of theatre, helping to develop the staging, and planning the costumes and props.
